Guidelines & Expectations

Please take a moment to read through all my guidelines and info! I do my best to be super transparent about my style, availability, preferred platforms, etc. so if anything isn't clear or you have any questions, please let me know! 002
I do not have any interest in writing with minors. This is for my personal comfort and also because I tend to include adult themes in my threads. I'm in the middle of my twenties, so I would strongly prefer my partners to be over twenty one, but at minimum at least eighteen. 003
There is no room in my life nor my hobbies for things like homophobia, racism, transphobia, sexism, etc. These themes can be utilized with plots within our writing but I don't want to spend time with anyone who shares foul beliefs. I don't really think this needs to be said but better safe than sorry considering the current climate! I just don't have the patience or tolerance for those with hate in their hearts.

I love doubling and thrive off of it, so I would expect this of any writing partners. There are few exceptions; for example, if we decide to write a canon/canon pairing and focus only on that, but generally I would require doubling to be present! I love seeing the characters people create and building lore and relationships surrounding them - and lets face it, this is a somewhat transactional hobby, lol.After all, we're all just here for a good time! 005

If you're looking for rapid fire or daily replies then I don't think we would be compatible.I reply once or twice a week - sometimes more, sometimes less, just depending on the chaos of life. I will always communicate if something has come up and it will take longer but, as a general rule, I usually end up using the weekend to catch up on threads since I sit at a computer all day for work lmao.I am around daily for plotting and for ooc chatter, though! ✩ PLATFORM ✩
I love using a discord server as a home base for our plotting, ooc chatter, etc. but I prefer to actually write threads via google docs.I hate fighting with the discord character limits and the lack of aesthetic possibilities, so gdocs is the platform I cling to. If you're willing to give it a shot but unfamiliar with it then I'd be happy to show you!I do not write via other platforms, unfortunately.
✩ WRITING STYLE ✩
I write third person, past tense, and consider myself lazy-lit.My starters tend to range around 800-1k words. My average replies are usually within the range of 500-800 words. This all depends on obvious factors like the scene, dialogue, etc. but it's the overall basis lol.I'm not a stickler for the length of replies but I do ask that there's something of substance to reply to. I think we all know how difficult it is to try to keep a plot moving when we've only got a few sentences to go off lmao. That said, as long as the story is moving forward, everything is solid.I don't want one liners or single paragraphs, please. ✩ CONTENT & LIMITS ✩
I'm always happy to include mature themes; violence, strong language, substance use/abuse, etc. is all totally fine. I am also comfortable with writing smut however I don't want it to be the majority of the story. Think, like, thirty percent max. I want the focus to be on the plot, character growth and development, etc.I won't write romanticized affairs/cheating. I won't write explicit sexual violence. I am totally fine with mentions, brief discussion, or to have it in backstories but I don't have any interest in writing it out.
INFO ON PAIRINGS & FANDOMS ─── ✩ I tend to prefer writing m/f or f/f. I will be happy to write whatever pairing you want for your end.✩ I also prefer writing oc/canon. I do have some canon/canon pairings I enjoy and those will be noted in the section with the fandoms.✩ All characters, at least as far as romance goes, will be eighteen or older.✩ There are no restrictions on gender identity, sexuality, whatever.
✩ In the fandom section, I have it ordered by preference in characters I'm looking to write against.✩ I also have it marked if there are any characters I strictly won't write for, who I have more experience with, etc. I am willing to give most a shot even if I haven't written them much before <3✩ If you came here from a post I made and see another fandom you'd be interested in listed here but not on the ad, you're more than welcome to ask about it! I usually seek out my biggest fixations so there's no guarantee I'll be looking to write it at that moment but it doesn't hurt to ask and see.
